WHO’S WHO - RECTORS OF NEWBURY FROM 1213 |
|
|
The names of the following rectors are derived from the Episcopal Registers of the Diocese of Salisbury from the time of Bishop Simon de Gandavo, in 1298, to the year 1836, when the whole County of Berkshire was detached from Salisbury and annexed to the Diocese of Oxford. The series is completed from the records of the latter See.
