We are Dinah and Patrick and we have lived in Newbury most of our lives. We had been attending church for many years but it had become a bit of a routine. Then we were told of the Alpha Course taking place in Newbury and we thought we would give it a try. We were made very welcome, we had a delicious meal and we made many new friends, people just like us making enquiries into the Christian faith. After a few weeks, we took part in a day of prayer and receiving the Holy Spirit. That was a wonderful experience - we are now much stronger in our faith and feel the Lord is listening to our prayers. The Alpha Course is for anyone who would like to strengthen their faith - we strongly recommend it. |
