The Church of England has a long tradition of daily prayer which embraces the three key elements of 1) thinking about God's goodness and giving thanks to him, 2) reading God's word in the Bible, and 3) praying to ask for God's intervention in our lives and the lives of others. The Anglican Common Worship Daily Prayer book provides a pattern of worship used throughout the country, corporately in cathedrals, parish churches and small groups, and also by individuals. This page links to the Church of England website and allows you to join in this daily pattern of prayer. Make your choice and then scroll down through the service, reading both the minister's part and the responses at your own pace.
